Mick Jagger is facing a backlash it seems for "spending the night together" with a new love. This has led to some and in particular the elder sister of his late lover saying Mick still "can't get no satisfaction" and would never change. But "time is not on Micks side" he is a man in his 70's,how long must he wait?
11 weeks after his lover of 13 years ,designer L'Wren Scott(pictured right ) committed suicide, Rolling Stones front man,70 year old Mick Jagger was spotted with a younger mystery woman. This has enraged the late designer's family as they blame him for her suicide. They claim they have been justified that she was depressed over his womanising ways but he insists they were happy and inlove before her death....
The late designer's sister,Jan Shane, 53 told the Mirror
These pictures make me really wonder what Mick is thinking and feeling. His daughter says that he is still heartbroken and so devastated about losing my sister. And then you see these photos he will never change.' 'And people wonder why L'Wren was so depressed?'
However, his friends say this is just how he copes with the pain
‘Some men drown their sorrow in drink. Mick doesn't drink much but he drowns his sorrows in women.’ They said that the mystery brunette in Zurich was not the first woman Mick has spent time with since the death of his girlfriend. He
grieved hard but Mick is someone who has always loved life and loves women. This is just Mick being Mick and moving on the only way he knows how.
Now the problem i have with this is two things,Mick is a man in his 70's,it was very clear to everyone around him when this happened how much grief stricken he was..He cancelled a host of shows they were supposed to have done..that's millions in lost revenue and everyone knows how Mick loves performing and it's been said he loves money even more.If the Girl friend has been dead for 3 months, how long must a man in his 70's mourn? Life is too short isn't it? Will another 3 months bring her back? And i am sure she will want him to move on with his life anyway.
This same sister who is picking on Mick now, borders on the hinges of hypocrisy...she was invited to the Memorial service by Mick Jagger and her brother, but she did not turn up cos, wait for it-she had a prior holiday booked to celebrate her 22nd wedding anniversary! Hear her: “My brother Randy reached out to me, upon Mick’s request, to invite me to the memorial.
“I think there was an element of guilt that I wasn’t invited to the funeral in LA.
“This was their way of extending an olive branch to me.
“But I just couldn’t go. I had already planned a trip away with my husband, Rob.
“We were celebrating our 22-year anniversary and wanted to get away.
“I wanted to go, because I understand it was a very fitting service for L’Wren, but because it was all arranged at such short notice I just couldn’t.”
You could not make a sacrifice for your own flesh and blood but expect her boyfriend to give up his own life?
