Bobby Womack, the legendary American soul singer, has died aged 70, his publicist has confirmed.
Womack became a key figure in R&B, and is best known for hits including Lookin' For A Love, That's The Way I Feel About 'Cha, and Woman's Gotta Have It.
In 2012, Womack relaunched his career with his first album in more than 10 years - The Bravest Man In The Universe.
The album - produced by Damon Albarn and XL's Richard Russell - made Rolling Stone's 50 Best Albums of 2012.
According to Womack's website he had gigs planned through July and into August. His cause

Womack was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease two years ago and dealt with a number of health issues, including prostate cancer.
Bobby Womack performed recently at the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival and seemed in good health and spirits.
Womack caught the attention of the Rolling Stones in the 1960s and influenced many early rockers before fading from popular music for more than a decade.Womack outlived many of the acts with whom he played and with whom he was friendly, including Jimi Hendrix and Wilson Pickett.
His songs were recorded by Janis Joplin, Wilson Pickett and many others. His friend Sam Cooke persuaded him to let the Rolling Stones record It's All Over Now.
"He said, 'One day you'll be part of history, this group is gonna be huge,'" Womack told BBC Newsnight in 2012. "I said, 'Why don't they get their own songs?'"
Bobby Womack was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2009, long after he'd lost his fortune to addiction.
Musicians paid tribute to the singer on Twitter after his death was announced.
Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood tweeted: "I'm so sad to hear about my friend Bobby Womack - the man who could make you cry when he sang has brought tears to my eyes with his passing."
A tweet from the band De La Soul said: "Had the pleasure [of] touring with this kind man for over a year...Just got news that he passed away … in tears."
