Adamawa State Govt.Bans Football viewing centres-Thanx to Boko Haram

Viewing centres is a big business in NIGERIA and Africa.

Viewing centres Nigeria.Gosh it must be terrible to be a football fan in Adamawa right now.Imagine the biggest football event that comes once in every 4 years, the World Cup and they might not even get to see it..Remember the everyday life kid don't necessarily have generators to turn on when Nepa strikes, one of the reasons why the viewing centres are so important to fans.
But the actions of Boko Haram has forced the Adamawa Government to ban the operation of football viewing centres indefinitely in the state.
The state government said in a statement by Ahmad Sajoh, Director Press and Public Affairs to Governor Murtala Nyako, that the ban was based on the advice of the Nigerian Army.
The statement said the government regretted any inconvenience caused by the action to the

teeming football fans and the owners of the viewing centres.

NAN recalls that there has been growing concern over the safety of viewing centres in Adamawa following last Sunday’s bomb attack on a pub in Mubi.
The beer parlours also serve as football viewing centres at Kabang ward of Mubi town where the incident claimed many lives.
NAN reports that with the ban, many football fans will not be able to watch the 2014 World Cup matches from the centres which had sprung up across the state.
The 20th FIFA World Cup in Brazil will kick off on 12 June while Nigeria will play their first match against Iran on June 16.
