Yolanda Okerere, Lagos fashion designer and celebrity stylist says she witnessed a part of Olufemi Segun's death(in actual fact she didnt cos he didn't die till another 6 days or so later)

Read in detail, her eye witness account of the accident as narrated to NET.

"I was driving along Admiralty Road, Lekki and was heading towards Wole Olateju Crescent when I saw about 10 people gathered around a body.

Apparently, there been an accident. I saw a man lying on the floor close to what looked like
the remains of a black power bike. The bike was shattered all around him; there was engine oil and fuel leaking from the bike too.

I saw a Toyota Sienna minivan by the side of the road and noticed a huge dent at the bumper and back of the vehicle. That must have been the vehicle he ran into. He must have been doing well over 60 Kmph for that kind of accident to happen. It was so horrible to see!

I was surprised to hear he didn’t die immediately. From the look of things, there was no way anyone could have survived it".

Sad thing about this whole thing is ,only in October a few months ago,Femi was talking to a few friends on facebook about riding his bike.His friends were concerned about Nigerian roads and the safety issue..Femi assured them all he is not crazy and is very careful as well as always being kitted properly for safety.From his replies it was very evident he was a careful and not a reckless rider.He had been an avid bike rider since his university days in the 1970's.He also had an accident back then where he broke his arm.An inside information that i received suggested that Femi had a bad spinal cord injury..doctors however did not know then how bad the injury was..there was hope he was going to survive the accident.I think the safety measures Femi took kept him alive till then.It's a real shame cos he was going to be flown out of the country but he was in a coma and they were hoping he would come out of it.
