Nigeria is truly an incredible country..barely less than 24 hours after some youths,the future of a nation,lost their lives through the shambolic frolics of the Government in the imigration recruitment fiasco,a federal Minister,this time the Minister of Interior, Abba Moro,(what the hell is that anyway?) has had the audacity to come out and say the victims are to blame for their own death! I still can't believe my own ears! Only in Nigeria! Do these people have souls? How do they sleep at night? They don't give a frigging monkeys about what happens to the common man...In
a decent country,resignations and sackings will have already started...Just watch this,not a single person will be held responsible for this.
How can they for a start pack 50,000 people in a stadium and ask them to undergo tests for employment? Especially positions that have all been taken.Everybody knows this vacancies will all be taken up by friends and relatives and members of political parties.IT WAS ALL A SCAM! N2Billion raised.How can a Goverment charge its youth's money for forms for employment? I wish Fela was alive to see all this.Things were bad when he was around,but never this bad. I have never heard such a thing in my life.Is this the best we can do as a nation? With all the technology in the world today?We must be a laughing stock to the whole world.This is what the minister had to say about it all:
“The applicants lost their lives due to impatience, they did not follow the laid down procedures spelt out to them before the exercise, many of them jumped through the fences of affected centers and did not conduct themselves in an orderly manner to make the exercise a smooth one. This caused stampede and made the environment insecure”, he said in Jos this evening. -I I still can't believe he said those words barely 24 hours after those poor kids lost their lives!
