say it was a huge disappointment.I know Olu has style and a taste of good things,so when i saw the trailer for the video and the pictures,i was awaiting something special.After all how can you spend
so much on a video and not ensure that at least a half decent son will accompany it? So i waited and held my breath.Wish i hadn't.The Video was ok,although it had no concept..just a blatant show of indulgence but at least it was still watchable and entertaining.But the song was the worst song i have heard in years..and i mean years!You couldn't dance to eat,couldn't sing along..the beat was terrible and the lyrics woeful..and this is me being nice.Surely if you paid that much money for a video,you would be able to get a decent producer or pay someone to write a song for you? Surely not in Maintain's case. Better luck next time.We all have diffrent qualities and talents,Mr Olu might have a good eye for videos and promotion but not for a good song..there's no harm in paying for this,even Michael Jackson amongst other great artists use witers. |
