Former President of Nigeria General Olusegun Obasanjo while paying tribute to Nelson Mandela recalled how
he(Obasanjo) persuaded Nelson Mandela to seek a second term and how he flatly turned him down!
Obasanjo recalled Mandela asked him "Olu,tell me in what country in the world they have an 80 year old ruler?" Obasanjo said he stopped for a second,pondered the question and at that time therer was truly no leader.He further said Mandela's passing was a reat loss and would be missed by his Family,Country,Africa and the World.
