Asari Dokubu who was arrested by Beninoise gendarme on Tuesday has reportedly been
released by Benin Republic government after the alleged intervention of President Jonathan's administration.

in Nigeria. He sometimes vow to cause mayhem if the president does not run for 2015 elections. He also denounced his Nigerian citizenship sometime ago.
His attorney, Festus Keyamo had pleaded with Nigerian government to intervene. It's not clear whether Festus' outcry prompted the government to intervene for his release. According to our source,a jet was deployed to bring Dokubo to Abuja Nigeria.
