Abby and Brittany Hensel
I just look at this picture in wonder and amazement of what humans are capable of.So many questions go through my head. What if Abby wants to sleep and Brittany feels very awake? How do they manage their feelings and body functions? Would they ever have a love life or do they have one?Conjoined people are the most amazing people on earth,i don't know how they do it,kudos to them. It's so remarkable. All these question made me curious and i actually found out that
one of the sisters,Brittany was actually engaged.Wow! They can actually get married?
Abby and Brittany biography. The twins are 26 years old, they were born on the 7th of March 1990.They have been called one of the s.exiest Siamese twins.
The twins were born in Carver County, Minnesota, to parents Patty, a registered nurse, and
Mike Hensel, a carpenter and landscaper. They have a younger brother and sister. They were raised in New Germany, Minnesota, attended Lutheran High School in Mayer, and graduated from Bethel University in St. Paul in 2012.
They are dicephalic parapagus twins, meaning that they are conjoined twins who each have a separate head, but share one body...and what a body! Right?
Abby and Brittany separated.
Upon their birth, the twins' parents rejected the option to attempt surgical separation after hearing from doctors that it was not likely that both would survive the operation. As they grew and learned to walk and develop other skills, their parents confirmed their decision against separation, arguing that the quality of life for the surviving twin or twins living separately would be less than their quality of life as conjoined beings.
They have several separate vital organs: a separate heart, stomach, spine and spinal cord. But they share their arms, breast, ribcage and legs. They also have a reality show on TLC called Abby & Brittany. They both went to college and have B.A. degrees and are considered one of the most successful conjoined twins in the world
