Following his brilliant performance at the 2000 European Nations Cup, Portuguese star player Luis Figo had made the audacious move from the Camp Nou to the Santiago Bernabeau to become a Real Madrid player for a world record fee much to the
outrage of the Barcelona faithfuls. They really prepared for him the next time both Spanish giants would clash at the Camp Nou and he got one of the most horrible receptions ever with abuse being thrown in his direction from all corners. On one particular incident he came towards the corner flag to take a corner kick and the fans threw missiles at him - paper cups, plastic bottles, coins and all but surprisingly, the head of a Pig was among the many missiles thrown that day.

I've never stopped wondering how that found it's way into the stadium. You would think everyone would be searched given the potential combustibility of such a huge encounter between Real Madrid and Barcelona.
